Elluminate

What is Elluminate?

Elluminate is a web conferencing system. With Elluminate, faculty may narrate a PowerPoint and students may also participate in the session with two-way audio, text messaging, a shared whiteboard, polling, and more. The participants in the Elluminate session can access the session from anywhere as long as they have a computer with an Internet connection. Faculty use Elluminate to review lecture notes, talk through PowerPoint presentations, and hold virtual office hours.

Getting Started with Elluminate

To begin using Elluminate, simply fill out the session request form; creating an Elluminate account is no longer required. You will be emailed two links to the Elluminate session. One link is for student use, and it allows users to enter the session and participate. The other link is what grants the user moderator or teacher privileges in the sessions. It is important to insure you only send students the participant link.
