What is Elluminate?

Elluminate is a web conferencing system. With Elluminate, faculty may narrate a PowerPoint and students may also participate in the session with two-way audio, text messaging, a shared whiteboard, polling, and more. The participants in the Elluminate session can access the session from anywhere as long as they have a computer with an Internet connection. Faculty use Elluminate to review lecture notes, talk through PowerPoint presentations, and hold virtual office hours.

Getting Started with Elluminate

If you want to get started with Elluminate, you must first request an Elluminate account. Once your account is created, then you can ask for specific session times. Once the session is created, you will receive an email with the web address that be forwarded to class members or other session participants.
