Reports

The Reports tool is accessed by clicking on Reports in your course's Administration block. Reports is an important AsULearn tool that provides instructors with easy access to detailed student activity logs and tracking information in your course site. Did Billy really read those lecture notes last night? Use Reports and browse all of Billy's logs for yesterday and find out! There are many and varied options for available for selecting and sorting these reports. You may sort by activity, student, date, time, IP address, action, and more. Reports allows the Teacher to see every click the students have made in your course site.

Scales

Teachers can create new custom scales to be used in your course for any grading activities. The name of the scale should be a phrase that identifies it clearly: this will appear in scale-selection lists, as well as on context-sensitive help buttons.
The scale itself is defined by an ordered list of values, ranging from negative to positive, separated by commas. For example: Disappointing, Not good enough, Average, Good, Very good, Excellent!

To begin working with Scales in your course, click on the Scales link in your course's Administration block.

  1. You will notice that there are existing Standard scales defined in the AsULearn site by the AsULearn administrator. These scales are available for use in all courses. Click the "Add a new scale" button to begin creating a custom scale.
