    backup process 4

Note: Your course backup zip file will be automatically named as backup-coursefullname-datestamp-timestamp.zip (e.g., backup-mus1001101-13877200740-20080209-0619.zip). You may use the date and time stamp (in this case, Feb. 9, 2008 at 6:19AM) to locate your most recent backup if you already have other backups). You may also rename these zip files, just as you can rename any other file. If you rename, be sure to use intuitive, compliant filenames, and do not alter or delete the .zip extension.

  5. It is always a good idea to download your most recent course backup to your local machine for safekeeping and redundancy. To download the zipped course backup, simply right-click (ctrl-click for Macs) on the file name and select Save Link As... (this context menu choice varies by browser; you may also see Save Linked File As... or Save Target As...)
